Obituary of Lucretia C. Green

Lucretia C. Green, 82, of Morgan Estates in Geneseo, passed away on March 21, 2013 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, under hospice care. She was born in Wellsville, NY to Dudley and Martha Hosley Chrimes, grew up in Buffalo and graduated from high school in Belmont, NY where she met and married the late Churchill W. Green Jr. She was a real estate Broker with Margaret C. Mack Real Estate and Nothnagle Gallery of Homes in Lakeville, NY. She was an active member of Geneseo United Methodist Church, and was a Past-President of Geneseo United Methodist Women's Association. Lucretia is survived by 3 daughters, Deborah (Tom) Spratt of Avon, Laurie (Jay) Sharman of Mt. Morris and Susan Ayers of Chesapeake, VA; a son, Craig Green of Sarasota, FL; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a brother, Theodore (Norma) Chrimes of Balston Spa, NY; a sister, Mary Lou Maxon of Wellsville; 3 nieces and a nephew. Friends may call Wednesday, March 27, from 6-8 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, March 28, at 11 AM at the the Geneseo United Methodist Church. Interment will be private at Maple Grove Cemetery in Friendship, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Geneseo United Methodist Church, 4520 Genesee St., (Rte. 63) Geneseo, NY 14454.
