Obituary of Stephen R. Cuozzo Sr.

Stephen R. Cuozzo Sr., 46, of Virginia Ave. in Greigsville, died Friday, December 31, 2010 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He is survived by his wife Joanne Cuozzo, 2 sons, David Cuozzo and Stephen Cuozzo Jr. both at home, his mother, Ruth Ann (George) Burns of York, 2 brothers, David (Kelly) Cuozzo of Leicester, Richard (Diane) Cuozzo Jr. of Perry, his sister, Brenda Simmons of Avon, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Richard "Nard" Cuozzo Sr. He was born September 30, 1964 in Warsaw, NY the son of Richard and Ruth Ann Brick Cuozzo Sr. He was a graduate of York Central School. Steve had been a night supervisor at the Walmart Store in Geneseo before being disabled in 2008. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Tuesday, January 4, 2010 from 3-7 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 10 AM at St. Lucy's Church in Retsof. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
