Obituary of Robert F. Hussey

Robert F. Hussey, 86, of Morgan Estates in Geneseo, died Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at his residence. He was formerly a longtime resident of Leicester. He is survived by his wife Helen Lathan Hussey, his children Kathleen Bass of Nashville, TN, Teresa (David) Harris of Avon, Robert Hussey of Mt. Morris, Paul Hussey of Hurricane Mills, TN, May Ellen (Curtis) Hopper of Franklin, TN, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brother, Thomas Hussey of Webster, sister, Mary Alice Erb of Leicester, many nieces and nephews. Bob was born December 29, 1923 in Auburn, NY, the son of Leo and Teresa Powers Hussey. He served in the US Marines during World War II. He and his wife Helen were married on December 27, 1947. Bob was a retired security officer from SUNY Geneseo. Visitation will be held at Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Sunday, December 5, 2010 from 1-4 PM. Memorial Mass will be held Monday, December 6, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 175 Main St. in Leicester. Interment will be in Leicester Cemetery with full military honors.
