Bill lived across the street from me on Rorbach Lane. He was a good neighbor and was always cheerful and friendly. He was handy with woodwork and generously gave me a buffalo made out of cut pieces of stained wood. My sympathies to Betty and all his family and friends.

Bill was a very talented and a great friend also. He refinished our dining room table and recaned our antique chairs. I never knew how else he was talented, but when he brought the chairs back, my Grandfather (George Stewart) was visiting. Bill walked in and Grampa said "Bill, how are you"?
I asked how he knew Bill and he told me Bill was his Barber for years! Small world. We surely will miss his kind nature and talents. Our thoughts are with you all now.

When I was married to Bill's son Tom, Bill was the best father-in-law one could ask for!!!! That's why we named our son , Bill after him!!!!Gosh I remember how he loved to polka and tell jokes and tease all the grandchildren. He always had a smile on his face and so proud of all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. And he loved to show off his wood work projects!!! Mom (Betty) take peace and comfort knowing that he was a great man who left behind sooo many good memories of him!!!!! Gina

Bill was a special man to me. In the few short years that I knew him he always had a smile on his face. We picked on each other every time we saw each other in the Parish Center and I missed that. He is in a much better place now and probably laughing and working in his heavenly workshop.

Dear Betty and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I remember his joking around and always making everyone around him laugh. I hope the memories of him for you are of those good times. May God comfort you in your sorrow.
