Obituary of Mary B. Roffe

Mary B. Roffe, 85, of Main St. in Leicester, died Monday, September 20, 2010 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. She is survived by her husband Wilfred A. Roffe, daughter, Karen Roffe and son, Thomas Roffe, all of Leicester, brother, David Love of Groveland, sister, Jean (Lou) Ianni of Stafford, brother in law, John (Marva) Roffe of Cohocton, sister in law, Letitia Welch of Rochester, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Beatrice Love, her brothers Robert and Donald Love, and her sister Naomi Love. She was born May 27, 1925 in Groveland, NY the daughter of James and Beatrice Barnhardt Love. Mary graduated Groveland High School in 1943 and went on to graduate from Rochester Business Institute. She was retired from Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea where she served as a medical stenographer. She was an active member of Sparta First Presbyterian Church in Groveland. No prior calling hours. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Sparta First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ronald Saladay officiating. Interment will be in Leicester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sparta First Presbyterian Church, 4681 Scottsburg Rd., Groveland, NY 14462 or the American Heart Association, 3500 Winton Place, Suite 4, Rochester, NY 14623.
