Obituary of George Rusnak

George Rusnak, 89, of Elm Rd. in Geneseo, died Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the VA Medical Center in Bath, NY. Mr. Rusnak was a longtime resident of Bristol, PA before moving to Geneseo. He is survived by his daughter, Carolann "Iris" Chiolan of Geneseo, granddaughter, Renee (John) Brown of Catawissa, PA, great grandchildren, Austin, Rachael, Victoria and Ryan Brown all of Catawissa, PA, sister, Olga Gydra of Bristol, PA, brothers, John Rusnak and Emil (Angie) Rusnak both of of Bristol, PA, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Nowack Rusnak. He was born May 21, 1920 in Wellington, New Jersey the son of John and Helena Surgent Rusnak. George served in the US Army during World War II serving from 1941-1945. He was a retired maintenance mechanic for the 3 M Company in Bristol, PA. No prior calling hours. Memorial Services will be held in PA at a date to be announced. Interment will be in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Langhorne, PA Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd., Geneseo, NY, 14454.
