Obituary of Raymond L. Wolfe

Raymond L. Wolfe, 80, of Chestnut St. in York, died Thursday, November 26, 2009 at the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in Rochester, NY. He was a loving dad to 2 daughters, Christine (Edward) Fitzpatrick of Wadsworth, Pamela (Tracy) Peglowski of York, loving poppy to 4 grandchildren, Raylene (Edward) Lagenfeld, Tiffany (Kenneth) Bird, Trisha (Brian) Pangrazio, and Trevor Peglowski, loving grandpoppy to 5 great grandchildren, KJ and Joey Bird, Riley Langenfeld, Jacob and Brody Pangrazio, brother to Kenneth Wolfe of Leicester, and uncle to several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia Wolfe and 2 brothers, Russell and Stanley Wolfe. He was born December 31, 1928 in Orangeville, NY the son of Philip and Edna Laird Wolfe. Ray was retired from Lapp Insulators in Leroy. He also worked part time at the York Hardware Store. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Sunday, November 29, 2009 from 1-4 PM where Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 30, 2009 at 10:00 A.M with Rev. Neil Frood of the York United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York. Memorials may be made to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 311 Winton Rd.
