Obituary of Onnolee H. Keller

Greigsville/Leroy: Onnolee H. Keller, 93, of The Greens of Leroy on West Ave., died Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY. Mrs. Keller had previously resided on Genesee St. in Greigsville. She is survived by her children, Paul (Sandi) Nichols of Omaha, NE, Dennis (Joyce) Nichols of Phoenix, AZ, Sharon (John) Roesch of Greigsville, Shirley (Joe) Pues of Freedom, WI, grandchildren, Dawn (Brad) Trojanowski, Danyel (Eric) Wierson, Jennifer and Tasha Roesch, Matthew (Carrie) Kirkpatrick, Michael and Bill Pues, 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Adelbert Nichols and Dr. Walter Keller, her brother Theos Howard, and her sister LauraBelle Smith. She was born May 4, 1916 in Cattaraugus, NY the daughter of Clive and Estella Raecher Howard. Onnolee was a 1933 graduate of Leroy High School. She was a former 4-H leader and Girl Scouts of America leader. She had worked at Dell's Diner at Corbin's Corners and was a nurse's aid at both Craig Colony in Sonyea and the Livingston County Skilled Nursing Facility in Geneseo. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Thursday, October 22, 2009 from 2-4, 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 23, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the York United Presbyterian Church with Rev. Neil Frood officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York.
