Obituary of Thelma Jean Young

Thelma Jean Young, 80, of Gamble Rd. in Groveland, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 21, 2009 at the Wyoming County Community Nursing Home in Warsaw, NY, where she had been a resident since November 2008.She is survived by her children, Lisa Carman of Rochester, Sam Young of Geneseo, Lucia (Greg) Dietrich of Orlando, FL, Cathy (Ralph) Jardio of Groveland, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Dorothy Austin of FL, Florence (Ralph) Bratcher of Leicester, brother, Wilbur (Mary) McKelvey of Groveland, several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband David Young in 2005.She was born March 13, 1929 in Warsaw, NY the daughter of Lee and Flora Toland McKelvey. No prior calling hours. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo.
