I have always thought of Tony many times over the years. We lost track of each other but he was always in my thoughts. Playing football with him, Joe, and Matt on the West Hill. Tony will be remembered fondly. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Tony Moroni is what we called you. I still talk about the time we were crusing up Liberty Hill in my Red Chevy Nova. I misjuded my speed driving over the tracks (maybe 75 MPH or so). As we flew up and over, you hit your head and when we flew back down, you hit your head again. It was then you woke up and wanted to know what all the comotion was... I miss those days and we will all miss you. To Tony's family... May sincere condolences.

The Woodmans and the Van Slykes grew up together on the West Hill in Warsaw....
Fond memories include the spaghetti dinner at the Woodmans when the power went out and we had a gas stove and the carnival in the backyard of the Van Slykes to raise money for charity

Rebecca, Katie, John, & Brian,
I only met you a few times but I wanted you to know that I'm thinking about you and will always have fond memories of Tony. He was such a goof as a kid, we grew up in the same neighborhood and had so much fun. Hang on to the good memories and remember him that way.

I don't even know what to say - I'm only an hour away but I just found out - too late to come! I have such found memories of our childhood up on the West Hill and going to school with Tony. He was a good friend to me. My thoughts are with all of you at this very difficult time.

although Tony has died physically, his spirit will live on. And I didn't know him very well, but I'm sure he wouldn't want everyone to be sad that he's gone. He would rather everyone be happy he lived a good life. And to Katie, John, Brian, Mary and the rest of the Van Slyke family, I give you my deepest and most sincere regards. Blessed be all.

My first thought of Tony was "this man is crazy" it was while he was on leave from CA and visiting my now husband Joe. All of our visits were filled with craziness but I wouldn't trade any of them, our last visit being this past Sept. It was difficlut to witness his battle but he still was "Peperone Tone" and Joe's best friend and Brother. There will never be another duo like Joe and Tony. Vicky, if you need anything call on us. Our love and prayers are with all of you.

My cousin Tony, you will be missed so much by so many. Your easy going-happy attitude was infectious. I'll never forget our mustang ride, or all those games of softball. May your pain be gone, and your family find peace

Dear Tony,
You have always been so special to me. You were such a beautiful, kind and loving little child when I first started going out with your Uncle Roger. You grew up to be an absolutely wonderful, caring and giving adult. You have touched so many people in such a positive way. I will miss you terribly. God Bless you and your family. I will always love you Tony.

"My Cousin" is just one of many titles given to a man who was and is universally loved, and for good reason. My memories of Tony go as far back as any I have, and though the memories are too few, still all define Tony as a warm hearted, fun loving, welcoming person who was always fun and easy to be near. It's a terrible loss for our family, but it's a blessing that he can now be in peace. May God hold Cousin Tony and all those closest to him.

The fisrt memory I have of Tony is how cute he was with all those freckles. My first memory of him as a person is how very nice he was. He loved to help his mother with everything. I saw him as the best big and little brother Mike, Jimmy, Mary and Tim could ever want. I saw how much he loved his family. I know that love carried over to his own family. I will always think of Tony as a loving and funny person. Tony was really funny. He was always making me laugh, when we were kids. I love you, Tony, Mary Rose.

I met Coach (Toni) Vanslyke 4 yrs. ago when he coached my son's little league team, what an impact he had on those kids. "Just get out there and have fun" is what he would tell them. He will be sadly missed in our community and in the hearts of many. My thoughts and prayers are with Rebecca and there children. God Bless

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. My words could not begin to express how sorry I am. I have so many wonderful memories of Tony. We had fun camping and the road trips to Aunt Carols house. Staying up all night, talking, but ost of all lots of fun and laughter.
Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.
