Obituary of Ralph E. Quick II
Ralph E. Quick II, 65, of Rorbach Lane in Geneseo, died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.
He was predeceased by his father, Ralph E. Quick, and sister, Lucille Robin.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Rainer Quick, children, Robert (Christine) Shepard of Painted Post, Tracy (Ronald) Martin of Geneseo, Christine Quick of Jacksonville, FL, 4 grandchildren, Douglas and Amy Martin, Erica and Bobby Shepard, mother, Emily Quick of Auburn, twin brother, Robert (Marge) Quick of Rochester, sisters, Carol (Bruce) Bowman of VA, Joan Quick of Auburn, Margie (Jamie) Hotelling of Genoa, NY, many nieces and nephews.
He was born January 17, 1947 in Sherwood, NY the son of Ralph E. and Emily Hunt Quick. Ralph was a Union Representative for the International Association of Machinists & Aeronautic Workers based in Buffalo, NY. He was an active and long time member of St. Mary's Church in Geneseo. Ralph was a Member and Past President of the Geneseo Kiwanis Club who presented him with the Hixson Award in December of 2010, the highest honor a Kiwanian can have bestowed upon them.
Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Wednesday, January 2, 2012 from 4-8 PM.
Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
