Obituary of Anna F. Rainer

Anna F. Rainer, 93, of Genesee St. in Piffard, died Monday, September 29, 2008 at her residence. She is survived by her children Paul (Barbara) Rainer of Geneseo, Charlene (Ralph) Quick of Geneseo, Thomasine (Alan) Wing of Piffard, Daughter in law Linda Rainer of Piffard, 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husb Paul Rainer, her son Stephen Rainer, and her brother Adam Fox. She was born October 29, 1914 in Contonment, Florida the daughter of Joseph and Rose Sabo Fox. Anna was a graduate of Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Education. She was a teacher at York Central School and retired from Pavilion Central School in 1970. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Friday October 3, 2008 from 4-7 PM. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Lucy's Church in Retsof with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Burial will be in Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo.
