Obituary of Carrie A. Spose

Carrie A. Spose, age 97, of 34 Haskell Ave., Arcade, NY formerly of Retsof, NY died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at the Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home in Springville, NY. Mrs. Spose was born October 20, 1910 in Cuylerville, NY the daughter of Louis and Lucy Pecora Alaimo. Carrie was retired from the cafeteria staff at York Central School in Retsof. She is survived by her daughter Sarah(Anthony) Affronti of Arcade, NY, son Joseph Spose Jr. of Rochester, 5 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, 3 sisters Nancy Dalu, Beatty(William) Damico and Phyllis(Robert) Ciaccio all of Rochester, sister in law Mary Alaimo of Rochester, several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday from 10AM-12 Noon at St. Lucy's Church, Retsof Rd in Retsof, NY where a Funeral Mass will follow visitation at 12 noon with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Geneseo. Memorials may be made to the Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home, 222 East Main St. Springville, NY 14141
