Obituary of Jane W. Harris

Cuylerville: Jane W. Harris, 90, a resident of the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, died there Thursday, February 21, 2008. She was a native of Cuylerville and had also resided at Morgan Estates in Geneseo in her later years. She is survived by 2 daughters Norma(Kenneth) Embling of Caledonia, Linda(William) Murphy of Avon, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, sister in law Mary Welch of Geneseo, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford "Kippy" Harris in 1996. She was born February 19, 1918 in Cuylerville, NY the daughter of John and Ruth Van Tyne Welch. She was retired from the sales department at Sibleys in Rochester. She had been an active member of the Livingston County Cooperative Extension. No prior calling hours. Memorial Services at the First Presbyterian Church of Caledonia with Rev. Nancy Reinert officiating will be announced by Rector-Hicks Funeral Home in Geneseo. Burial will be in Leicester Cemetery.
