Obituary of Warren A. Geitner
Warren A. Geitner, age 93, of Long Point Rd. in Geneseo, died Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at his residence.
He was predeceased by his wife Mary in 2014 and daughter, Marilyn Garfield in 2003.
He is survived by his children, Stephen (Amy) Geitner of Rochester, Paul (Annie) Geitner of Albany, Ann (Craig) Harvey of Hagerstown, MD, Kathy (Dave) Christa of Fairport, Michael Geitner of Rochester, Alice (Rick) Scheel of Fairport, Ruth (Matthew) Szymanoski of Fairport, grandchildren, Jeffery, Christopher, Jonathan, Emily, Nicholas, Carrie, Denise, Katie, Andrea, Erica, Natalie, Madelyn Nathan, Jessica, Eric and Amanda, great grandchildren, Alex, Corbin, Miles, Ella, Lola, Heathcliff and Hudson, many nieces and nephews.
Warren was born July 29, 1921 in Rochester, NY the son of Alexander and Hazel Sergisson Geitner. He was a US Army WWII Veteran. Warren was a Co-Owner of the Genesee Manufacturing Company in Rochester. He was an avid boater and enjoyed his time on the water.
Calling hours will be held Friday, July 24, 2015 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July, 25, 2015 at 10 AM with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
