This is an event that I've dreaded- Martha was always there for so many of us. Thank you Martha for the rides, the use of your living room and basement, and your patience while Jerry and I learned every guitar lick in every Beatles album. Continuing to share your and the York musical legacy in Pittsburgh.

So many memories of this amazing woman....she was a great 4-H leader. Meetings always fun and involved and then going to Rochester to see the wonderful musicals with then Sister Alana (Vera). Anytime, anywhere, Martha was smiling and always happy. I started sending Mother's Day cards out about 8 years ago and she was always in the list and when I saw her! there was always a big thank you. Always a big smile, always giving, always making everyone around her better that was Martha. Her Mother's Day card was returned to me last week, so I knew something was up. So sorry I didn't get to say goodbye. I will miss her very very much, as will the town of York and everyone she touched. Give mom a hug for me!

"Mom Curry" will be deeply missed. She was an amazing lady who everyone loved that had the wonderful opportunity to know her. She was a wonderful mom, mother-in-law, grandma and great grandma, sister and friend to all. She supported the bands that I played in with her son, Jerry (Pay Dirt) and most recent - String of Pearls. She organized our performances at the Depot in Leroy over the last several years and promoting our dates there. She did so many things while living with a serious illness but never once did I hear her complain or not see her smile or have a positive attitude. She loved everyone and everyone loved her - to me that's a life well spent. She is now with the Lord and has her angel wings watching down on all of us - at peace. We will miss her dearly but take comfort in knowing she is always with us - in our hearts. - Nancy Drum
