Obituary of Martha L. Schiano

Martha L. Schiano, age 86, of Northview Dr. in Geneseo, died Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband, John Schiano in 1996. She is survived by her sons, Jack Schiano of Geneseo, Robert Schiano of FL, Rick (Cathy) Schiano of Virginia Beach, Steve (Becky) Schiano of Swain, grandchildren, Stacy Schiano, Kristen and David Schiano, Steve, Erin, Henry, Jacob and Clair Schiano, many nieces and nephews. Martha was born August 4, 1928 in Detroit, MI the daughter of Robert and Marion Bynum Mooney. She was a 1949 Graduate of the Highland Hospital School for Nursing in Rochester. Martha and her husband owned and operated Schiano Chrysler Plymouth in Geneseo. She was a long time member of St. Mary's Church in Geneseo. Calling hours will be held Monday, April 6, 2015 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
