Obituary of Joseph M. Tabbi

Joseph M. Tabbi, age 86, of Main St. in Geneseo, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his daughter, Terry Lynn Tabbi, siblings, Roseanne, Phillip, Salvatore and Charles. He is survived by his wife, Sarah "Sally" Tabbi, sons, Joe Tabbi of Chicago, IL, James Tabbi of Rochester, granddaughter, Claire Tabbi of Rochester, brother, Anthony (Joy) Tabbi of Kissimmee, FL, sister in laws, Marilyn Tabbi of Buffalo, Rose Falcone of Silver Creek, brother in law, Herman Ciminesi of Brant, NY several nieces and nephews. Joseph was born March 1, 1929 in Buffalo, NY the son of Charles and Elizabeth Lazzaro Tabbi. He was a US Army WWII Veteran. Joseph was the Founder and Owner of Tabtronics in Piffard, NY. He was a member of St. Mary's Church in Geneseo. Calling hours will be Friday, March 20 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Edward Dillon officiating. A reception will follow Mass at the Big Tree Inn, 46 Main St. in Geneseo. Private Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Silver Creek, NY.
