Obituary of Joan E. Christiano

Joan E. Christiano, age 78, a resident at the Avon Nursing Home and formerly of Retsof, died Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Christiano Jr. and grandchildren, Aaron and Adam Christiano. She is survived by her children, Richard Christiano of Avon, Ronald (Debra) Christiano of Fairport, Catherine (Paul DeMaine) Carson of Retsof, grandchildren, Summer, Eric and Jenna Carson, J.C. and Cory Riggione, brother, Fred (Kathy) MacIntyre of Mt. Morris, sister, Sally (Harold) Smith of York, sister in laws, Josephine Savino and Rosemary Giordano both of Geneseo, many nieces and nephews. Joan was born August 1, 1936 in Geneseo, the daughter of Fred and Mary Ann Linton MacIntyre. She was retired from Specialized Printed Forms in Caledonia. Friends may call Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 13, 2015 at 10 AM with Deacon George Spezzano officiating.
