Obituary of William L. Gamble

William L. "Bill" Gamble, age 72, of Hawthorn Circle in Geneseo, died Friday, February 27, 2015 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his brothers, Millard Gamble III and John Gamble, and his sister, Gloria Jones. He is survived by his sister, Sonja (David) Robson of Wilmington, DE, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bill was born February 4, 1943 in Manhattan, NY the son of Millard G. and Doris Reed Gamble II. He graduated Trinity High School in Manhattan and received his Bachelor's Degree from Georgia Tech. Bill was retired from DuPont in Rochester. He was a member of the Genesee Valley Hunt Club, the Hunt Hollow Ski Patrol, the Golden Links Folk Singing Society and played in the Hoot'n Holler'n Hotshots Band. No prior calling hours. A Celebration of Bill's Life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 3-7 PM at the Hunt Hollow Club, 7532 County Rd #36, Naples, NY 14512. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Genesee Valley Hunt Club, PO Box 52, Geneseo, NY 14454.
