Obituary of Donald J. Davis

Donald J. Davis, age 93, a lifelong resident of York, died Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the Avon on the Green Apartment Complex in Avon, NY. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary A. Davis, his children, Patricia (Dean) Potter of FL, Donna (William) Westacott of Silver Lake, Gail (Thomas) Williams of Leroy, RJ (Dianna) Davis of Nunda, Mary (Patrick) Schlaefer of Rochester, 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, nieces and nephews. Don was born November 14, 1921 in York, NY the son of Roy J. and Margaret Fitzsimmons Davis. He was retired from the AKZO Nobel Salt Mine in Retsof, NY. No Prior Calling Hours. Graveside Services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York. Memorials may be made to Livingston County Hospice, 2 Murray Hill Dr., Mt.
