Obituary of Genevieve M Snider

Genevieve M. Snider, 76, of East Madison Ave in El Cajon, died October 8, 2012 at her residence. Genevieve resided in California and was previously from Leicester. She was predeceased by her brother, William Andrews, sister, Virginia Andrews, and nephew Donald Chapman. She is survived by her sister, Betty (Les) Sliker of Leicester, sister in law, June (Harold) Gilbert of Dansville, nieces, Laura (Jim) Scondras of Leicester, Leslie (Mike) Brado of VA, Debbie (John) Hurst of Wyoming, NY, nephew, Dean Chapman of Perry, several grand nieces and grand nephews. She was born October 21, 1935 in Warsaw, NY the daughter of Howard and Nellie Whitney Andrews. Genevieve graduated from Pavilion Central School in 1955 and from Buffalo State University in 1959. She taught in Nunda, was a civilian employee teaching at US Army Bases throughout Europe, the Philippines, Hawaii and lastly California. No Prior Calling Hours. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 11 AM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St in Geneseo with Lucille Kane officiating. Interment will be in Leicester Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Charity of One's Choice.
