Obituary of Gary R. Stewart

Gary R. Stewart, Sr., age 62, of Telephone Rd. in York, died Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the Highlands at Brighton in Rochester, NY. He was resident at Morgan Estates in Geneseo before his admission to the Highlands at Brighton. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Jean Stewart, wife, Deborah Fox Stewart and sister, Betty Monfort. He is survived by his children, Gary Stewart Jr. of York, Tracy (Lee) Richardson of York, James (Danielle) Stewart of Dansville, 10 grandchildren, sister, Anne (David) Adamson of Groveland, brothers, Steve (Relma) Stewart of Groveland, John (Lorie) Stewart of Cuylerville, many nieces and nephews. Gary was born May 24, 1952 in Warsaw, NY the son of George and Jean Stapley Stewart. He had been employed at Korth Farms in York for over 45 years. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 10 AM. Burial will be in Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo. Memorials may be made to the Teresa House, 21 Highland Rd., Geneseo, NY 14454.
