Obituary of Nethaniel H. Wolfson

Nethaniel H. Wolfson, Specialist US Army, age 22, of Geneseo, died Sunday, November 23, 2014 in North Carolina. He is survived by his father, David Wolfson of Geneseo, grandfather, Bruce Wolfson of Geneseo, brothers, Victor, Drake and Alex Wolfson all of Geneseo, their birth father, Brian Hall Sr., half-brother, Brian Hall Jr. both of Cuylerville, several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Specialist Wolfson was born April 14, 1992 in Rochester, NY. Nethaniel was a paratrooper assigned to the 122nd Aviation Support Battalion at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and Army Service Ribbon. Nethaniel was a 2010 Graduate of York Central School where he was a member of the soccer and tennis team. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 3-8 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 7 PM at the York Central School Hilfiker Auditorium with Pastor David Missel officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wolfson Scholarship Fund, York Central School, PO Box 102, Retsof, NY 14539.
