Molly was the beloved daughter of Elaine and James Bennett, and the cherished sister of Sean and Tess. She was the treasured granddaughter of the late Theresa and Richard Wojtanik of Hamburg, and Barbara and the late Floyd Bennett of Cazenovia. Molly was the dear niece of Jim and Darlene Wojtanik of Eden; Beth and Steve May of Clinton; Susi and Jay Kokas of E. Granby, CT; Amy and Dane Conley of Cazenovia; Terry Bennett of Ebensburg, PA; and Nora and Jim Devoy of Fayetteville. She will be truly missed by her cousins Scott, Eric, Anna, Stephanie (Tim), Katie, Matthew, Michael, Meghan, Emily, Maggie, Mary Kate, Hannah, Jonathan, and Luke, and by many wonderful friends.
Molly was born on May 17, 1992 in Rochester, NY. She attended Geneseo Nursery School and was a 2010 graduate of Geneseo Central School. A long time member of St. Mary's Church, she sang in the children's choir and served as an acolyte and vacation bible school teacher. Molly was passionate about music, acting, and dance throughout her lifetime, and appeared in many high school and community productions. She was most recently a member of the College of Wooster (OH) Chorus, and three a cappella groups on campus. She was also a member of the Kappa Epsilon Zeta sorority, and worked at the College of Wooster Nursery School and at the Campus Store. In May of 2014, Molly earned a BA in Neuroscience from the College of Wooster. Her love of children led her to apply to the New York City division of the City Year Service Corps. She was accepted into the program and assigned to a school in Brooklyn, where she planned to spend the year working with at-risk students and families.
