Obituary of Mary Rose Burnette

Mary Rose "Sis" Montemarano Burnette, age 69, formerly of Cuylerville, died August 23, 2014 in Pikeville, KY. She was predeceased by her brother Dominic Montemarano. She is survived by her husband, Hatler Burnette of Pikeville,, children, Robert Burnette of Louisville, KY, Jackie Clark of Pikeville, Robin Eldridge of Louisville, brother, Mauro "Cookie" (Peggy) Montemarano Jr. of Cuylerville, sisters, Kathy (Richard) Baumgardner of Cuylerville, Lorie (John) Stewart of Cuylerville, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, uncle, Joseph Montemarano Sr. of Leicester, aunt, Rose McCart of Leicester, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Sis was born June 14, 1945, the daughter of the late Mauro and Doris Eggert Montemarano, Sr. She was a volunteer secretary for St. Francis Catholic Church in Pikeville, KY where she had been a member since 2004. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11 AM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery, Louisville, KY.
