Obituary of Theodore P. Wood Jr.

Theodore P. Wood, Jr., age 75, of Groveland Rd. in Geneseo, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at his residence. He was predeceased by his daughter, Carin Wood in 2010. He is survived by his wife, Roberta Fitt Wood, children, Christine (Dennis) Gauthier of MA, Theodore Wood III of FL, Michelle Gillam of Geneseo, 2 grandchildren, sister, Patricia Batz of Honeoye, several nieces and nephews. Theodore was born January 29, 1939 in Corning, NY the son of Theodore P. and Marjorie M. LeVeque Wood Sr. He was a US Marine Corps Vietnam veteran. Ted was a salesman for Advance Auto Parts in Geneseo before his retirement. No prior calling hours. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 10 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 42 East South St. in Geneseo with Bishop Brent Powell officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Groveland with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Family, 5609 Groveland Rd., Geneseo, NY 14454.
