Obituary of Carrie N. Merrick

Carrie N. Sawdey Merrick, age 30, of Reservoir Rd. in Geneseo, died Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. She is survived by her husband, Branden, daughter, Hadley, mother, Dawn (Bob Peri) Sawdey of Geneseo, grandparents, Jim (Sandra) Sawdey of Geneseo, loving cousin and sister, Ryan, aunt, Holly (Doug) Westerdahl of Webster, cousins, Jordan and Christian, father in law, Todd (Camille) Merrick of Geneseo, mother in law, Michelle (Rick) White of Ithaca, NY, brother in law, Kevin Merrick of Geneseo, many dear and loving friends. Carrie was born August 17, 1983 in Dansville, NY. She was a graduate of Geneseo High School. Carrie was a Deputy Sheriff for the Livingston County Sheriff's Office. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 1-4 & 6-9 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Bernard Dan officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Hadley Merrick's College Fund, 22 Ryan Dr., Geneseo, NY 14454.
