Obituary of Marion E. Ruliffson

Marion E. Ruliffson, age 89, of Scottsburg, died Friday, April 25, 2014 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. She was predeceased by her son, Glenn "Butch" Ruliffson and brother, Bill Thompson. She is survived by her husband, Allen, sons, Gary (Gail) Ruliffson of Scottsburg, Casey (Alice) Ruliffson of Harrisonburg, VA, Ray (Johnnie) Ruliffson of Geneseo, grandchildren, Karen, Sharon, Kevin, Rick, Tricia, Allen, Christina, Kim, Jenn, Eric and Kaytee, 11 Great Grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, many nieces and nephews. To know her was to love her. Her wit words of wisdom, sense of humor and style touched your soul and lit up a room. She was humble, gracious, kind women who loved to look at the positive. She will be forever in our hearts. Marion was born December 24, 1924 in Port Talbot, Wales the daughter of David and Irene Leyshon Thompson. She was a Secretary at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester. Calling hours will be held Monday April 28, 2014 from 4 - 7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 10 AM with Lucille Kane officiating.
