Obituary of James T. Quait

James T. Quait, age 89, of Laughlin Lane in Geneseo, formerly of Groveland, died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris. He was predeceased by his brothers, Howard and Paul Quait, sisters, Arlene Battaglia and Alice Partridge. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Bonadonna Quait, daughters, Sharon (Bob) Nitzenberger of Geneseo, Roxanne (Darryl) Adamson of Groveland, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. James was born December 28, 1924 in Groveland, NY the son of Samuel Vance and Eva Gibson Quait. He was employed by American Breeding Service in Madison, WI. Calling hours will be held Monday, April 21, 2014 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 11 AM with Pastor Dorothy Hotchkiss officiating. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery in Dansville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Teresa House, 21 Highland Rd., Geneseo, NY 14454 or the Livingston County C. N.
