Dear family members of Joe. I'm afraid that I might only know Tom from high school days, however, I want to offer my deepest sympathy to all of you on your tragic loss. Although we did not keep in touch (which can be said for the vast majority of our classmates), I really did enjoy having Joe as a friend in high school - a great guy with a great personality and sense of humor.
I had the pleasure of seeing Joe, once again, a number of years ago when we both happened to be on the same airplane flying back to Rochester from the west coast. It was great to catch up, and I still called him "Josey" as if it had not been as many years as it had been since we had last seen each other
Truly a great guy and a great classmate. He will be missed by all of us.
My sincere condolences,
Alan Cutler

Many fond memories of Joe will never be forgotten. He always did things his own way. He was one of the original "Chili Boys", a leader, a rebel who commanded respect. As a freshman in high school there were seniors who sought his companionship. A gifted athlete in soccer and baseball. As a friend he was trusted and loyal. I will always remember Joe. My deepest sympathies to his family.
