Obituary of William A. Scoville

William A. Scoville, Sr., age 82, of Geneseo, died Thursday, April 10, 2014 in Winter Park, FL. He was predeceased by his son, William A. Scoville, Jr. and brothers, John and James Scoville. He is survived by his sons, James Scoville and Michael (Natalie) Scoville both of Winter Park, FL, grandchildren, Sampson, Emily and Robert Scoville, sister in law Agnes Scoville of Rochester, many nieces and nephews. Bill was born March 25, 1932 in Rochester, NY the son of John and Margaret Chiara Scoville. He was a US Air Force Korean War Veteran. Bill was a Helicopter and Small Arms Repairman for the Army National Guard in Rochester. He was a Geneseo Village Police Officer and a member of the Geneseo Fire Department. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 10 AM with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo with Full Military Honors. Memorials may be made to the Geneseo Fire Department, PO Box 428, Geneseo, NY 14454.
