Obituary of William P. Simmons

William P. Simmons, age 64, of Geneseo, died Saturday, December 21, 2024 at his residence. He was predeceased by his father, Elwood Simmons.

He is survived by his partner, Alesia Boyd, daughter, Kelly (Nicholas Salisbury) Simmons of Caledonia, son, Christopher Simmons of Caledonia, and their mother, Susan Simmons of Mt. Morris, grandchildren, Caiden, Jacelyn and Elliana, step children, Megan (Dustin) Macauley of Geneseo, Katelyn (TJ) Coleman of Retsof, Jacob (Whitney Whaley) Van Norman of Pavilion, mother, Carol Rolinson of Canandaigua, siblings, Daniel (Debbie) Simmons of TX, Beverly (Daniel) Fisher of Canadice, Tim (Ann Slocum) Rolinson of Sodus, Ron (Michelle Moorison) Johnson of Cuylerville, Gary (Lisa) Jamison of South Lima, lifelong friend, Jim Powell of Linwood, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bill was born February 5, 1960 in Rochester, NY the son Elwood Simmons and Carol Leonard Simmons Rolinson. He was a Graduate of York Central School class of 1979. Bill was a US Army Veteran. Bill was a Skilled Tradesman specializing in Drywall for Gypsum Systems based in Victor. He was an avid softball player and over the years teams became more like family rather than teammates. Bill was also an avid hunter, Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees Fan.

No prior calling hours. A Celebration of Bill's Life will be held on January 18, 2025 from 12 Noon - 3 PM at the A-On-DO-Wa-Nuh Sportsman Club, 4716 River Rd. in Leicester.
