Obituary of Richard A. Davis
Richard A. Davis, age 87, of Leicester, died Friday, October 11, 2024 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. He was predeceased by his wife, Cheryl, sisters, Beverly Regatuso and Shirley Blekkenk, brother in law, Dan Russell.
He is survived by his sons, Rich (Jen) Davis and Scott (Denise) Davis, daughter, Wendy (Bobby) Wade, grandchildren, Kaitlynn Wade, Brandon (Madison Luft) Davis, Kyle Wade, Joshua (Leah Hodges) Davis, Olivia Davis, Reese Davis, Kacie Wade and Mackenzie Davis, brother, Bernie (Jane) Davis of Caledonia, sisters in law, Anne (Norm) Clark of Murals Inlet, SC and Kathie Russell of Rochester, several nephews and nieces.
Richard was born June 22, 1937 in Groveland, NY the son of Charles and Lois Galbraith Davis. He was a graduate of Geneseo High School. Richard served in the US National Guard for 36 years and retired from Shop C in Henrietta. He was also an avid New York Yankees Fan.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 11 AM - 1 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where his Funeral will follow visitation at 1 PM. Burial with Military Honors will be in Leicester Cemetery.
