Obituary of Kirsten G. Oliver

Kirsten G. Oliver, age 56, of Rush, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones Sunday, August 11, 2024 at her home. She joins her father, Thomas Grant, who passed in 2009.

She is survived by her husband, Jason, daughter, Lilijana S. Oliver of Ithaca, mother, Patricia Clark Grant of Sparta, sister, Susan (David Wright) Grant, niece, Keira Wright all of Henrietta, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Kirsten was born June 15, 1968 in Rochester, NY the daughter of Thomas and Patricia Clark Grant. Following her graduation from Dansville High School, she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Audiology and her Master's Degree in Audiology from SUNY Geneseo. Kirsten worked as an Audiologist for BOCES of Monroe County.

Kirsten will be remembered as a nurturer of the lives around her. This was demonstrated daily through her love of family and pets, raising Monarch butterflies, seemingly effortless green-thumb, support of wildlife rescue organizations, involvement in Rush-Henrietta running programs, and work with students as an audiologist.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Rush, NY.
