Obituary of Steven J Cook

Steven J Cook, age 56, of Honeoye, formerly of Groveland, died Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Suzanne's Comfort Care in Perry, NY. He was predeceased by his mother, Donna "Sis" Barber Cook, aunt, Joanne Barber, uncle, David Barber, cousins, Leslie Scoville and Mollie McCurdy.

He is survived by his brother, Michael (Lynette) Cook, uncle, Donald Barber, aunt, Debbie Quait, cousins, Donald (Janet) Barber and Laurie (John) McCurdy, dear friends, Jenna Headley and family.

Steven was born October 4, 1967 in Rochester, NY, the son of Thomas and Donna Barber Cook. Steve worked for Pro Tire in Groveland for many years and most recently TekniPlex Plastics in Honeoye. He liked NASCAR and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Friends may call Thursday, August 8 from 5-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Memorial Services will follow visitation at 7 PM. Interment, Lakeview Cemetery, Groveland on Friday, August 9 at 10:00 am.
