Obituary of Donald A. Ladley

Donald A. Ladley, age 79, of York, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 24, 2023 at his residence. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Margaret Ladley, brother, William Ladley and brother in law, Raymond Batzel.

He is survived by his loving wife, Glenda, children, Donna (James) Yost of Mill Hall, PA, James (Kimberly) Ladley of Byron, Susan Ladley of Geneseo, grandchildren, Lindsay (Judd) Shedal, Isaac Ladley, sister, Sharon Batzel of VA, several nieces and nephews.

Donald was born June 25, 1944 in Warsaw, NY the son of William C. and Margaret Adamson Ladley. He was a Machinist at LAPP Insulators Company in LeRoy until his retirement. Don was a longtime member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church where he had previously served as a Deacon. He also served on the Board of Directors for Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York.

Don's Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 1 PM at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 4232 Reservoir Rd. in Geneseo with Pastor John Zatkiewicz officiating. Private Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York.
