Obituary of Joseph R. Dorr

Joseph R. Dorr, age 54, of Rochester, died Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his mother, Gail E. Dorr.

He is survived by his children, Connor (Kayla Burnett) Dorr, Tyler (Mike) LeRoy and Sarah Dorr all of Rochester, father, James (Glenys) Dorr of Rochester, brothers, Adam (Jen) Dorr of Gurnee, IL, Daniel (Linh) Dorr of Rocklin, CA, Matthew (Amber) Dorr of Collegeville, PA, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Joseph was born January 14, 1969 in Syracuse, NY the son James Dorr and the late Gail Eule Dorr. Joe was employed as a Chef at the Grandeville Senior Living Community in Rochester before becoming ill.

A Celebration of Joe's Life will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 2-5 PM at Kelly's Saloon, 71 Main Street in Geneseo. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
