Obituary of Sylvia A. Gallo

Sylvia A. Gallo, age 85, of Cuylerville, died Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at her residence. She was predeceased by her, husband of 65 years Carmen Gallo Sr., brothers, Robert Cuozzo Sr., Frederick and Michael Cuozzo.

She is survived by her children, Mary Jo (Mike) Burger of Augusta, GA, John (Suzanne) Gallo of Alden, Jackie (Mike) Cellini of Webster, Carmen (Mara) Gallo Jr. of Retsof, Marcy Carson of Mt. Morris, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister, Maris (Ed) Rauber of Cuylerville, brother, Donald Cuozzo of Wadsworth, several nieces and nephews.

Sylvia was born October 16, 1937 in Warsaw, NY the daughter of Daniel and Josephine Ferrando Cuozzo. She was a lifelong member of St. Luke's Parish. Sylvia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and an amazing friend to all.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo with Rev. Sylvester Bioh officiating.
