I did yard work for Ray over 20 years ago when I was a college student at SUNY Geneseo. He was one of the most hardworking people I have ever known, was full of stories, and had a great sense of humor. I’ve thought of him often over the years and still share memories of my summers planting flowers, mowing lawns, and crashing into light poles on the riding mower :) RIP Ray- you were loved by so many ❤️

Growing up in Geneseo I would frequently see Ray and June at Mass on Sundays at St. Mary's. My standout memory was his effervescent smile, joy to life, and his most affable charisma. To his family my thoughts and prayers are with you as I know the loss that you feel. I am certain that as a candle lights another to illuminate a darkened room, one fond memory will gather another to keep your dad and mom alive in your minds and hearts forever.
Best wishes,

My condolences and prayers to Ray's family. Ray did a lot of work on my house in years past and it was always a pleasure to work with him. He always wore a tie no matter how dirty of a job he was doing. He always had a bottle of Old Spice on the seat of his truck giving him the nickname of "Sweet smelling Ray". He was a very pleasant man to deal with or just to have a nice chat.. He is now reunited with June, the love of his life. Rest in peace Ray, you will be missed by many.

I only knew Ray for a brief time this past year. I liked him instantly. What a wonderful person. His inner light shown all about him. So happy that I got to know him for the little time I did.

Great Uncle Great Guy. Never laughed so hard with anyone like I did with him. Loved riding in his Black GTO when I was a kid with him and Aunt June. Always in our thoughts.
