My deepest condolences to the McDonald family. Before I moved to Las Vegas, I remember Bob when he came in to the travel agency in Geneseo to book his flights to Las Vegas. Always using JetBlue because "they took such good care of Jean" and always staying at the Suncoast because she loved the view. He was such a kind and thoughtful man.

Dear Robin, Kelly, Tracy, and Casey,
How lucky you were to have such a great dad (and mom!). You are all in my thoughts today.

My standout memory of Bob was his constant smile, and infectious attitude toward life. I always found him to be a kind and gentle man who led by example, and set that example for others to emulate. In many ways he personified my growing up in a village where overall people were kind and looked after one another. From his military service to his community service, Bob was a giver and not a taker.
As a candle lights another to illuminate a darkened room, may one fond memory gather another for his family that will keep him alive in their minds and hearts forever. Once more God proves to us that he only takes the best.

Although it has been many years since I moved from Geneseo; I remember Bob as a wonderful man, father and member of the Geneseo community. As a teen growing up in Geneseo ; both Bob and Jean were always nice to me and good friends of my parents. If there was ever a resident of Geneseo who embodied honesty, a kind spirit and dedication to a community; Bob was all of that ... My thoughts today go out to all of their children and grandchildren. They should know that their father and grandfather
was a " king among men" to the town and we will never see the likes of Bob McDonald again walking along the streets of Geneseo.
