Obituary of Richard J. Santacroce, Jr.

Richard J. Santacroce, Jr., age 64, of Nunda, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Josephine Santacroce Sr., and his brother, Robert (Jerry Miller) Santacroce.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lori Santacroce, children, Melinda (Scott) Carr of Leicester, Tony (Laura) Gallicchio of Buffalo, Nickolas Gallicchio of Canisteo, Brandy (Robert) Eddy of Mt. Morris, Jessica (Alex) Gallicchio of Nunda, grandchildren, Tristin Hagen and Orrin Carr, sister, Lynn Ann (Stephen) Smith of Le Roy, many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.

Rick was born March 3, 1959 in Dansville, NY the son of Richard J. and Josephine Macaluso Santacroce Sr. He was employed by Spencer-Virnoche, Inc. in Clay, NY as a Carpenter.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 11 AM at St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo. Rick's family requests that no fancy attire needed and to wear your best tie-dye, Thank You.
