I met Dave in 1991 when I was a Sales Representative employed by the Durox Company, which sold gaskets and seals to railroads. My boss, Fred Miller, introduced us. Dave was the Chief Mechanical Officer at the G&W. After taking care of business we had lunch at the Yard of Ale. Thus began a long distance friendship, usually just exchanging cards at Christmas, but sometimes my wife and I would stop in to see him after he’d retired from the railroad. I remember a laid-back, easy-going guy who knew a lot about railroads and machinery in general. A nice guy who will truly be missed.

My Deepest and most heartfelt Condolences to all of Davie's family. He was such an amazing down to earth guy. He has always been a main staple in my life and with my family. He work for my Dad on the farm and General Contracting when he was younger, before he went into the Service ( he was so proud to serve and protect his Country) and after he came home. Horseback riding with him and my Dad when I was growing up, our love of fast cars, his common sense words of wisdom he would share over the years. Loved seeing him wheel in on his Harley dressed in official Judges Robe to perform a wedding . So very grateful to have had him apart of my family growing up and as an adult.
Love and will miss you "Davie Crocket".... Fly high on Eagles wings my friend. We will for another star shining brightly in the sky.... RIP

I've known David (as I always called him) since I was a kid. He was older, but he was always really nice to me, and I adored him. He took me for a ride in his new convertible, and on his motorcycle. He was so patient teaching me to drive a tractor on my uncle's farm. Going to stock car races. Hiking up the Gully with us. David was just such an easy going, nice guy to everyone, and will be greatly missed.
Condolences to Harry, Vicki and all of the family.

So many great times with "Davie" as I would call him, and he always call me " Debbie". Knowing him since my youth I've gathered many wonderful memories. The railroad, clambakes, hunting, seeing him in town all the time, officiating a wedding, the list goes on. He was a proud man, he served his country with pride, and held his honor to the end. I'll see you later Davie ....God Speed

My condolences to your family. May you find fond memories to share in the days ahead. I will always remember your dad striding into the York Town Hall in his bike gear and my dad telling me, "That's Dave Clark, you know, the judge," and I was just astounded. Next thing I knew, the "biker judge" (as he was called in my head) was roasting a pig for some graduation or fire department gathering... mind blown again! I have those two fond memories of your dad - I hope you have many more. Those who are remembered live on.

Our most sincere condolences on the passing of Judge Clark. He spent many hours with me in my youth talking about the law and discussing, "sometimes, it's just common sense that resolves many disputes." I've taken his words and applied them as a primary principle in my practice. Thank you, Your Honor. May your family be comforted knowing they have an angel watching over them.

If you knew my grandpa, you know he was a “see ya” type of man- never one for “goodbyes”. Growing up the second someone found out I was Dave Clark’s granddaughter- they instantly treated me with a higher level of respect. Your impact on our community will not be forgotten.
Thank you for teaching me how to change my oil, bait a hook, make a mean apple crisp, butcher my own meat, and have tough skin.
I’ll see you later grandpa. Until then I’ll think of you every time I see a Locomotive, attend a fair, sit around the fire at gully, enjoy a pig roast, hear a Larry the cable guy joke, or eat a stuffed pork chop.
You’ll be greatly missed both by our family and our community.
