My condolences on Rick’s passing. I haven’t seen Rick since our days at Crawford and company!!’ We worked together for several years ! We shared some great moments during those days ! I have many great memories from my time at Crawford and company and Rick is big part of those memories!! Again my condolences on your loss!! Rick will be missed!

Dear Cindy and family, I was shocked to read the obit in Tuesday's Post Standard. First. thank you for placing the announcement as we would all want to know of Rick's passing. I have wanted to send holiday cards but lost track of you all after move from Syracuse. Second. I want to thank you for sharing Rick with us at Crawford & Co. He was like my brother when I arrived the first day and we all became good friends as well as work partners. I had so much fun once May rolled around as we would have the annual Claims Clam bake at Hinderwadls thursday. then Minoa field days on Friday and the SU Regatta on Saturday along Onon Lake Parkway. It is a wonder we made it to work on Monday. BUT... Susie G and I will NEVER forget the day Rick came into the office after having taped a segment on radio from Rick and Ron show. It was the playing of the battle of Gungadin {sp} Rick Gary and Ron Bee narrated and interjected the sounds of the bugelar getting hit with arrows and needless to say ...it was hysterical/ We laughed for days after and anytime things got stressful. your Rick would play the tape. I still laugh. He played golf in the office through our spaces :with Bob Bowes} and held up the ceiling after tornado hit our building. He was my friend and my confident. I am very sorry to hear this news as he is first of our small family to leave us, but he always liked being first. lol He will always be in my thoughts as "that special person" that helped me through life. Billy and I remain in Syracuse at 117 Benoit Dr. 13209. With a heavy heart. I thank you for loving him. Cheryl Michalski
