Obituary of William O. McLean

William O. McLean, age 87, of Jacqueline Way in Geneseo, died Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. He was predeceased by his wife, DonaGean in 2010. He is survived by his children, Laura Perrine of Lyons, NY, Darlene McLean of Geneseo, William Steven (Sandy) McLean of Retsof, grandchildren, William (Shannon) McLean and Phillip Butterfield, great grandchildren, Dakota, Blake, Jaxon and Linkyn, sister, Ruth (Richard) Hollenbeck of Elmira, sisters in law, Rosaline McLean of Mt. Morris and Betty McLean of Leicester, several nieces and nephews. Bill was born April 15, 1926 in Groveland, NY the son of William Allan and Irma Barnhardt McLean. He was a WWII US Air Force veteran. Bill was employed by Townsend Oil in LeRoy, Hop's Plumbing & Heating in Geneseo and International Salt in Retsof. He was a long time member of the Retsof Hose. No prior calling hours. Graveside Services and Interment in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York will be private. Memorials may be made to the Golisano Children's Hospital, 300 East River Rd., Rochester, NY 14627.
