Obituary of Antony J. Burton

Antony J. Burton, age 61, of Leicester, died Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at his residence. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Sarah Burton.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Vattimo Burton, his children, Samantha Herring of Piffard, John Burton of Conesus, grandson, Conner Herring, sister, Jane Frier of Scotland, several nieces and nephews.

Antony was born July 24, 1961 in Portsmouth South, Scotland the son of John Keith and Sarah Neill Burton. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business and Economics from the University of Glasgow in Scotland. Antony was the Purchasing Manager for the Center for Ambulatory Surgery in Buffalo, NY. He was a Formula One racing fan and an avid golfer.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 2-4 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Memorial Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
