Obituary of Barbara J. Freese

Barbara J. Freese, age 87, of East Avon, died Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Freese Jr. and brother, Jerry Judd.

She is survived by her sons, Scott (Amy) Freese of Geneseo, Terry Freese of Geneseo, grandchildren, Brett (Marlee) Freese of Mesa, AZ, Casey (Andy) Beichner of Brookville, PA, brother, David (Patty) Judd of FL, brother in law, Chuck (Mary Kay) Freese of Lakeville, several nieces and nephews.

Barb was born April 29, 1935 in Lockport, NY the daughter of Albert and Mildred Gibbons Judd. She Graduated from the Genesee Nursing School in Rochester. Barb was a nurse for over 30 years at the Genesee Hospital in Rochester and the Teresa House in Geneseo for 23 years. She was a member of the Avon Lioness Club, the Avon Garden Club and the Historical Society. Barb was also an avid bridge player.

No prior calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 11 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of East Avon with Reverend Michelle Allen officiating. Interment will be in the South Avon Cemetery.
