Obituary of Thomas J. Yantachka

On July 29th 2022 Thomas J. Yantachka of New York died at the age of 64. Tom was born to Joseph and Ann Yantachka in 1958. He grew up in the city of Rochester where he went to Edison Technical School. Then met Lorene A. Kasper, who he married in 1982, and raised three children, Maxwell, Sara, and Erika.

Tom was a retired tree surgeon that enjoyed many things including walking the Rochester Public Market and the Avon Flea Markets, talking to the vendors and chatting with anyone who wanted to converse.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Sr., his mother Ann and his brother Joseph Jr. He is survived by his wife Lorene, his children, grandchildren, many sibling, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Tom's life will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 11 AM at the Groveland Ambuscade Park, 5440 David Gray Hill Rd. in Geneseo.
