Obituary of David J. "Iggy" Brown

David J. "Iggy" Brown, age 84, of Geneseo, died Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, Tony and Caroline Brown and his brother, Thomas Brown.

He is survived by 2 uncles, Maurice (Marie) Barkley of Rochester, Ed Barkley of Henrietta, several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

David was born September 9, 1937 in Angola, NY the son of Anthony Alfred and Caroline Jane Finley Brown. Iggy was a graduate of Geneseo High School class of 1957. He owned and operated the family farm on Lakeville Road in Geneseo as well as Browns Garage on Main St. in Geneseo. Iggy drove tractor trailers for Denny's in Webster and also sold health insurance. He was a longtime member of St. Mary's Church in Geneseo.

No prior calling hours. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
