Obituary of Mary L. Nitsche

Mary Lammon Nitsche, age 76, of Geneseo, died Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Nitsche, sister, Christine (Paul) DeCamp of GA, brothers, Michael (Cynthia) Lammon of SC, Daniel (Nancy) Lammon of RI, brother in law, Jude Nitsche of VA, many nieces and nephews.

Mary was born February 9, 1946 in Kingston, NY the daughter of Daniel and Catherine McConnell Lammon. She graduated from the Corning Free Academy and earned her Bachelor's degree from Newton College in Newton, Massachusetts. Mary worked in the Computer Information Technology Department for SUNY Geneseo. She was a member of the Geneseo Garden Club, Craft Group and an active member of the Geneseo Welcome Center. Mary and Charlie loved to travel together especially to their beloved Keuka Lake.

The location, date and time for a Celebration of Life will be announced in the future. A Private Graveside Service will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
